About Joo Y. Oh
Joo founded Studio JYO with the conviction that interiors deserve the same seriousness as the structures that surround them. Trained in architecture, she approaches each project with sensitivity to how a home lives over time, beyond how it appears in a single frame.
Her sensibility is shaped by cross-cultural influences and a reverence for restraint, where warmth comes through proportion, material, and quiet craftsmanship rather than display. She is drawn to spaces that unfold gradually, revealing their strength in subtle ways.
Studio JYO remains intentionally measured. Joo leads a focused team united by shared standards and fluency in the language of building. The work is deliberate, edited with care, and guided toward homes that feel composed from within.
